About the job

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and strategic leader to partner with our organization’s executive leadership teams and the People & Culture (P&C) team within Manufacturing & Supply. This key role will act as the catalyst for the deployment of the One Sanofi People Strategy and for leading the M&S modernization initiatives, supporting M&S Specialty Care & External Manufacturing.

The successful candidate will contribute directly to achieving both short and long-term business objectives by providing P&C strategic leadership and support across talent management, performance, organizational development, culture. This role requires ensuring seamless alignment to Sanofi’s Global Business Strategy while embodying and championing our Take the Lead culture.

As Global People Business Partner, M&S Specialty Care & External Manufacturing, you will be an active member of both the Sanofi M&S Specialty Care & External Manufacturing Leadership Teams and the Global P&C M&S leadership team, with a direct reporting line to the Global Head of P&C M&S.

Scope:

  • M&S Specialty Care is a worldwide network of 7 sites, representing a workforce of employees 5000 employees, supporting the growth of Dupixent and other key Specialty Care brands, while enabling the launch of 20 new products by 2030.
  • External Manufacturing is an organization of ~ 500 employees, creating value and performance by leading a network of 150 CMO manufacturing sites, ensuring development of strategic business partnership with CMOs to support the future launches.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coach and advise the M&S Specialty Care & External Manufacturing LTs to shape and enable the people agenda and business strategy, by guiding them on strategic planning activities and support them in the business modernization agenda
  • Contribute to global strategic activities, such as workforce and succession planning, talent and leadership development, culture, DCE by providing the M&S General Medicines & Global Engineering respective inputs.
  • Collaborate with COEs to tailor global solutions and best practice solutions by providing functional and GBU respective input and ensure that business needs are met.
  • Drive thechange agenda and key projects at global level to build capability.
  • Promote strategic thinking with business leaders, to be proactive in challenging the status quo.
  • Drive Talent Acquisition – Provide the M&S input to understand and shape requirements for respective workforce segment and support the hiring of global teams for L4 and above.
  • Lead Talent Management – Know the global talent population and manage succession plans, establish talent reviews and advise global leadership on the development of talents in within your perimeter.
  • Provide Insights – Advise business based on data and insights on respective workforce segment to enable strategic P&C agenda within area of responsibility. Anticipate and identify global business needs and challenges.
  • Org Design and Effectiveness - Work with your Leaders to shape operating model/ org design. Coordinate and manage business and organization changes globally (e.g., mergers, divestiture, NBM) in conjunction with other global GBU/GF People Business Partners and OD
  • Promote Culture and DEI by driving programs and initiatives to increase engagement within your respective perimeter.
  • Follow Employee Relations - Advise on high-profile / severe cases and act as escalation point for high-profile cases in global teams.

About you

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of P&C experience, with international exposure.
  • Proven experience in leadership development, compensation, employee relations, culture transformation, and change management.
  • or a minimum of 10 years of business experience with demonstration of strong business partnership and a deep interest in People & Culture dynamics, and experience in leading transformations with international exposure

Soft and Technical Skills:

  • Great leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization & ability to represent P&C externally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Management of a remote and diverse team a +.

Education and Languages:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
