About the Job

The LEDP Test Engineer is responsible for the design and execution of Test cases to ensure digital products meet quality standards by identifying defects and streamlining testing processes.

LEDP is based on Dassault Systemes 3DExperience platform. The 3DExperience platform is configured and customized to meet Sanofi user requirements. As the Software Editor is delivering new Out Of The Box functionalities, the platform is also updated regularly to benefit from the new features.

Currently, there is a new release every 6 months, but we are planning to increase the frequency of updates to every 10 weeks.  In this context, we are launching an initiative to automate testing of digital products using the 3DExperience platform. Tests include for each new release:

• Non regression tests

• Tests of new functionalities.

The preselected tool for test automation is TOSCA from Tricentis.

LEDP is critical to build the data continuity between the CMC and Launch units, it will enable paperless tech transfers and will serve as a foundation for other digital tools such as Launch readiness Control tower, One click TT, One click Dossier, Integrated Collaborative Scheduling and others.

It is a role requiring knowledge of pharmaceutical quality requirements for software (GxP), experience in application testing process (test case writing, execution and reporting) and tool knowledge. Analytical skills and rigor to identify, classify and manage defects as well as good communication skills to interact with Platform Configuration Engineering and Technical teams.

Responsibilities:

1/ Automated tests definition and execution

• Translate functional specification into a set of test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements, leveraging existing UAT test cases and new function specifications. Maintain associated test blueprint.

• Define associated dataset requirement

• Define execution reports

• Automate dataset creation

• Implement test automation and report generation

• Perform first deviation analysis

2/ New release process and bug resolution:

• Provide ad-hoc support to technical team for SIT and business team in UATs

• Provide support to technical team in confirming bug resolution through automated testing on large datasets

3/ testing process efficiency

• Ensures and track efficiency of the testing process.

• Contributes to continuous improvement of the testing process, notably leveraging AI and integration with other systems (e.g. Jira, Confluence)

About You

Education/Certifications

-             Minimum B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

-             Advanced degree (eg. M.Sc) preferred

Skills

• Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca

• Background in quality assurance testing from previous experience in automated testing, ideally on the 3DExperience platform and/or in lifescience industry.

• Understanding of test management practices

• Strong analytical skills
