As the Global Buyer for Solid Process Equipment within our CAPEX Procurement Team, you’ll help Sanofi to build up a diverse and health supply chain in Manufacturing Process Equipment Category. As standardization technology & Lean process improvement increase in size and complexity, the need for seasoned professionals who can source, manage, and coordinate this strategic portfolio is vital.

Main responsibilities
Category management, deliver end-to-end portfolio strategy for Solid process equipment following the Global Category Management process: internal, external analysis to create strategic direction for each category & sub-category covering end to end lifecycle management (standardization, TCO, obsolescence)
Maintain knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry benchmarks while providing solutions & alternatives for process improvement and anticipate & consolidate all business needs to develop action plans, and facilitate implementation of procurement strategy
Communicate departmental vision & goals and track and report functional metrics, prepare and manage the procurement savings and managing and resolve any issues with suppliers
Build up robust stakeholder map & community of practice to leverage technology, opportunities and implement strategic direction globally in close collaboration with Global Engineering/Manufacturing & Supply: Develop and implement Global procurement strategies understanding regional footprint and specificities
Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms while acting as a change agent and lead multi location projects/support RFQ, execute negotiations as needed for Solid process equipment project, and deliver world class total savings objectives
Develop Strategic Supplier Relationships programs: Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance
Ensure procurement technical excellence (Total cost ownership, Supplier Relationship Management, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, Corporate social responsibility, Environmental Social and Governance, compliance, quality…)
About you
Experience
Professional CAPEX procurement experience in pharma industry or automotive or FMCG
Good knowledges of CAPEX, construction & Equipment Supplier market of Pharmaceutical
Preferred demonstrated knowledge of procurement systems, processes and procedures
Soft skills
Analytical and negotiation skills and techniques
Strong Project Management skill and knowledge
Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Technical
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or another relevant field
Languages
Fluency in English
