We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Solution Architect, Global Functions to lead the architectural design of our HR technology ecosystem. This role is a strategic peer to Digital Architects within the Global Functions Architecture Center of Excellence, with a primary focus on Workday architecture—the cornerstone of our People & Culture (P&C) technology transformation.


The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Workday and HR systems architecture, with a proven ability to lead complex integration and transformation initiatives. This role will partner closely with Digital Product Line leads, P&C Strategy Leaders, and other key stakeholders to drive architectural decisions that align with our global roadmap and architectural standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze and translate functional and technical requirements into robust architectural solutions, with a strong focus on Workday as the central HR platform.

  • Lead the design and governance of core models for integrating Workday with local and global systems, ensuring scalable, efficient, and cohesive processes.

  • Architect and guide Workday transformation and remediation efforts across the HR systems landscape.

  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence, Digital Delivery & Operations, and Product teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture strategies and successful implementation.

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in HR technology and apply innovative approaches to enhance system capabilities and drive continuous improvement.


About You

Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Workday architecture, including integration methodologies (EIB, Core Connectors, APIs), security frameworks, and platform capabilities.

  • Strong technical and functional knowledge across HR domains: HCM, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Time & Leave, Payroll, and Insights.

  • Proven success in leading digital transformation initiatives within complex, global environments.


Technical, Functional, and Strategic Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver architecturally sound solutions that support the P&C technology roadmap.

  • Deep understanding of Workday security best practices, including role-based access, data policies, and integration protocols.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders across regions.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product-oriented delivery models.

  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and solving complex problems with a curiosity-driven mindset.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Advanced degrees or Workday Certification, relevant Architecture certifications are preferred
