As an Indirect Tax Senior Accountant, you will be managing the Asia indirect tax function including both ensuring compliance obligations are met as well as partnering and advising the business on indirect tax matters.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement and ensure alignment with Sanofi Business Operations core model.

• Propose and support any project which aim to align to core model but also transform and automate our processes with RPA mindset.

• Ensure SOX and Internal Control Framework compliance across activities, and support A2R Lead/Supervisor and Country Finance to identify and address any gaps.

• Support external and internal audits by working closely with A2R Lead/Supervisor and Country Finance.

• Ensure adequate follow up on issues identified during external and internal audit.

• Operational activities including preparation and management of GST compliance, lodgements, reporting and processing journals for Asia entities, non-resident withholding tax obligations, preparation of month-end indirect tax reconciliations and reporting as needed.

• Monitor developments and updates to indirect tax related legislative changes and act as an expert to the business to provide indirect tax advice, support and responses to queries within the confines of the legislation.

About you

• Experience: Relevant experience Taxation, preferably similar indirect tax experiences in a multinational environment.

• Education: Tertiary qualifications majoring in Tax/ Accounting or equivalent.

• Skills: Experience in SAP and displayed commercial mindset with the ability to partner across internal and external stakeholders.

• Languages: Excellent verbal and communication skills in English.
