About the job

Our Hubs are a crucial part of how we innovate, improving performance across every Sanofi department and providing a springboard for the amazing work we do. Build a career and you can be part of transforming our business while helping to change millions of lives. Ready? As Contract Obligations Monitoring Specialist within our Contract Obligations Monitoring Team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that all contractual obligations are actively monitored, that performance deviations are identified early, and that stakeholders are informed and engaged on compliance outcomes.

Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely review and monitoring of all assigned contractual agreements using AI-powered Obligation Management and CLM tools, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions across both EM (Enhanced Monitoring) and Non-EM obligation categories.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and validation strategies for specific obligation categories, adapting approaches based on obligation complexity, risk profile, and supplier performance history.
  • Execute targeted monitoring and validation routines for assigned obligations, applying structured review methodologies to detect potential deviations or performance gaps before they escalate.
  • Utilize obligations management tools to identify early indicators of potential contractual breaches, SLA underperformance, or general compliance issues, escalating to the relevant stakeholders with timely and well-documented findings.
  • Perform specific data reconciliation reviews, comparing vendor-reported data against Sanofi internal systems (e.g. financial reconciliations, rebate validations, SLA performance records) to confirm the accuracy of commercial obligations.
  • Maintain accurate, current records of monitored obligations, identified issues, escalation history, and resolution status within the obligations management system.
  • Prepare periodic, detailed reports on the status of contractual obligations, performance trends, and identified compliance issues, leveraging AI analytics and dashboard tools.
  • Conduct obligation impact assessments to evaluate the financial, operational, or reputational implications of identified non-compliance instances or obligation failures.
  • Support the Vendor Contract Assessment process on a targeted basis, assisting with the review and classification of vendor contracts for obligations scope determination.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, compliance, and operational teams to communicate, address, and drive resolution of identified contractual issues and non-compliance instances.

About you

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in managing vendor contract obligations, with a strong understanding of financial obligation structures (e.g., rebates, volume commitments, SLAs) and their monitoring requirements.
  • Soft skills: Strong analytical skills with a results-driven approach and proven stakeholder management abilities.
