ABOUT THE POSITION
The Planning Analytics Business Enablement Analyst supports the global Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions used for budgeting, forecasting and operational planning across the Group. The role focuses on supporting functional design and deployment activities within the Controlling Enablement team, accurate project documentation and test execution.
The role contributes to project activities by coordinating documentation, performing analysis, preparing testing materials, and supporting user communities in close collaboration with the Enablement Lead and project teams.
The Analyst contributes to the lifecycle of Planning Analytics projects including requirements clarification, documentation, testing, knowledge transfer and deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring complete, accurate, and up-to-date project documentation throughout all project phases.
- Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including test script preparation, execution, and defect reporting.
- Contributing to capturing business requirements and preparing functional documentation.
- Coordinating change management, training material preparation, and knowledge transfer.
- Manage demand intake and governance processes by capturing stakeholder requirements, maintaining accurate demand records (SharePoint/Jira), and ensuring alignment with project priorities and resource constraints.
The role makes independent decisions within established guidelines on matters such as test prioritization, documentation standards, and support resolution, in alignment with the Enablement Lead's oversight.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Documentation & Project Coordination
- Create, maintain, and update comprehensive project documentation including functional specifications, operational guides, test scripts, and data dictionaries
- Ensure document version control, consistency, and proper archival management while coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders
- Track project Progress, issues and changes, and provide clear status reporting to leadership
- Coordinate demand governance activities and provide analysis to support prioritization and resource planning decisions.
Business Requirements & Design Support
- Manage and document requirement gathering sessions by analyzing, collecting, and synthesizing stakeholder inputs and process flows
- Conduct gap analysis initiatives by systematically compiling findings and providing actionable insights to drive solution design
Testing (SIT & UAT)
- Develop and coordinate comprehensive test cases and scenarios covering functional requirements, integration points, and business processes with appropriate risk-based prioritization
- Execute test protocols, document results, identify defects, and coordinate resolution activities with technical teams
- Guide UAT participants through testing processes, clarifying procedures and expected outcomes to ensure successful user acceptance
Deployment & Change Support
- Create training materials and user guides to support system rollouts and process changes
- Own and execute change management communication strategies and lead user feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement initiatives
User & Operational Support
- Deliver first-line functional support during hypercare periods, documenting user issues and providing timely resolutions
- Manage and implement knowledge transfer to operational teams, ensuring sustainable long-term support capabilities
REQUIREMENTS
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- 3–5 years’ experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Data/Analytics, or system support roles.
- Exposure to system implementation and/or enhancement projects is beneficial.
- Experience in preparing structured documentation, training materials, system and/or operation specifications preferred.
- Some experience with testing or UAT activities is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of planning tools (TM1, Anaplan, BPC, etc.) is a plus.

Main responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant Controlling Operations services — including budgeting, forecasting, closing, and financial planning & analysis — across 32 countries.
Drive convergence and harmonization of processes across 7 International MCOs including EMEA, LATAM, Brazil, South East Asia & India, and Australia/NZ/South Korea.
Lead and develop a team of 28 professionals (including 3 direct Service Delivery Heads), fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage global transformation projects aligned to the core model (TM1, ERP, Rolling Forecasts, Insights Factory) in collaboration with Global Process Owners.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Finance Business Partners, Budget Owners, and 200+ stakeholders across geographies and time zones.
Lead governance meetings across the International perimeter, ensuring structured, outcome-driven sessions with clear action tracking and risk communication.
Continuously challenge legacy ways of working and recommend new approaches to drive efficiency and value creation.
About you
Experience:
Proven track record in service delivery leadership within a finance controlling environment
Experience in leading large international teams (30+ members)
Experience in driving process harmonization across multiple geographies
Soft and technical skills:
Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills
High influencing capacity
Ability to build credibility across multi-level stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of Risk & Internal Controls/SOX standards
Technology-savvy with familiarity with finance platforms (TM1, SAP)
Excellent communication, organizational, and change management skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Languages:
Fluent English essential; additional languages are a strong advantage given the international scope of the role.
