Sanofi is implementing an ambitious plan complementing our Play to Win Strategy with 3 main objectives (i) keep Fuelling our pipeline (ii) make Sanofi a modern science-driven healthcare company (iii) serving our patients.

In this context, Sanofi made the decision to evolve its commercial model from GBU-specific country organizations to a more standardized and consistent approach, boosting efficiency.

Main responsibilities:

  • Design the Commercial Strategy and the promotional grid, implement reward systems to recognize the fulfillment of actions.
  • Supervise and coordinate the implementation of the marketing and communication action plan for strategic products.  
  • Track client strategies and relationships with Physicians.
  • Establish relationships with opinion leaders and representative entities in the area, with the aim of strengthening the link with the company and highlighting its presence.  
  • Regularly visit major distributors and drugstores to ensure compliance with action plans and evaluate joint business opportunities.
  • Survey, evaluate and implement the coverage of new profitable areas to introduce or strengthen products.
  • Synergize the channels/products/markets where the company must and can make an impact to achieve its results
  • Administration and correct allocation of the budget. Control the use of the investments of the marketing department defined for each line to ensure the fulfillment of the agreed objectives.                                                                              
  • Maintaining and developing contacts with opinion leaders, Scientific Societies, distributors, vaccinators, drugstores, customers to know their interests and expectations and define the courses of action to follow.   

About you

Experience:

  • Diversity of exposure
    • Exposure to varied market contexts (mature, emerging), cross-cultural collaboration
    • Transversal experiences across business units, TAs, Global / Local, regions, other companies or industries 
    • Exposure to senior management and key external stakeholders
    • Crisis management, compliance risks, restructuring
  • Launch excellence experience and expertise:
    • Launching new products and building recognized brands in challenging and fast-paced environments
    • Market shaping activities (KOLs, PAGs) and evidence generation (in partnership with Medical Affairs / R&D) within launch preparation activities.
  • Experience across integrated value chain
    • 10 years Customer focused commercial experience (e.g. Sales, Market Access, other value driving activities) Experience in partnering functions
    • Contribute to sustainability initiatives, CSR, environment, image management, doing beyond the products (society, patients etc.)
  • Experience with integrating digital strategies and solutions:
    • Leading with data and AI
    • Experience with digital marketing and digital diagnostics
    • E-Commerce experience and knowledge
    • Experience of creating a business model that brings value and drives revenue through a digital solution
    • Driving customers with Omnichannel, GTM strategies and Digital transformation
  • P&L Experience & Understanding
    • Exposure to various P&L activities to gain experience and track record of successful growth and demonstrated profit, achieved through innovative & customer-centric approach
    • Strategic P&L management, allocation of resources

  • Capacity to challenge the status quo to enhance efficiency with an entrepreneurial mindset respecting global approaches.

Education: Solid educational and professional background

Languages: Fluent in English.
