The Launch to Engage process represents a critical L1 end-to-end process encompassing seven key L2 sub-processes: Product Launch, Market Access & Pricing, Insights & Analytics, Omnichannel & Customer Engagement, Trade & Revenue Management, Customer Facing Operations, and SEE Engage-to-Report. This comprehensive process ensures seamless coordination from product launch through customer engagement and revenue realization.
Our Team
The Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) organization aims to centralize Go-to-Market excellence and operational tasks across GBUs, standardizing best-in-class capabilities with strengthened global support while establishing clear ways of working to optimize process excellence and efficiency. The GPO Blueprint framework serves as the foundation for this transformation, establishing clear roles, governance, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
As a Global Process Lead reporting to the Global Process Owner of Launch to Engage, you will be responsible for managing specific L2 or L3 processes within the Launch to Engage taxonomy, ensuring alignment with global standards while driving local implementation excellence across all regions and business units.
Main Responsibilities
The Global Process Lead – Launch to Engage is a full-time non-operational role responsible for managing assigned L2/L3 process areas — focused on process design, governance, standardization and continuous improvement, not day-to-day operational execution. Working closely with the GPO Launch to Engage, you will ensure alignment within and across functions, applying GPO Model capabilities, methods, and tools to drive process excellence.
Core Process Management
Own and manage specific areas of the Launch to Engage core model processes (scope to be defined based on assignment)
Maintain and improve assigned process areas including leading Continuous Improvement projects covering process design, management rules, RACI definitions, roles & organization, internal controls, and digital solutions
Ensure processes levels 1–5 are fully documented; for levels 6–7, document processes, business rules & detailed standard operations where meaningful
Drive Business Process Management lifecycle for assigned process areas, including continuous improvement, innovation, and digital & automation solutions
Act as business system owner for assigned processes to ensure system standardization and optimization
Ensure a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) strategy is defined and maintained for assigned process areas, both globally and locally
Drive innovation to ensure assigned processes are future-proof, examining and proposing new solutions that increase automation and improve process outcomes
Ensure internal controls and compliance requirements are embedded within process designs from the outset
Global Implementation & Standardization
Provide and maintain Core Models for assigned business processes, including exception approval processes
Drive standardization across functions and geographies within assigned process scope
Ensure consistent adoption of optimized processes implemented across all regions and GBUs
Support identification of improvement potential, definition of design and implementation-related action plans and resourcing by collaborating with BPLs, SMEs, and when required other GPLs and the GPO
Support review of any change requests and exceptions to the Core Model with regional teams
Stakeholder Management & Governance
Participate in Process Board meetings with reporting responsibility to the GPO Launch to Engage
Animate Local Process Champion Community and operate Operational Meetings to ensure compliance with governance throughout local processes
Identify dependencies and potential impacts with other L2/L3 processes and ensure alignment with respective GPLs and GPOs
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across all geographies, including Regional Heads and Global Delivery Center teams, through solid governance and networking
Reach out to GPL peers within Launch to Engage and neighboring GPO teams for exchanges on best practices and cross-process alignment

1. End-to-end process transformation & improvement
Coordinate & support identification of improvement potential and design measures, plans and resourcing for assigned process areas
2. Core model & standardization
Develop/maintain assigned process documentation aligned to GPO Model quality standards, methods, and tools
3. Technology, tools & data
Identify potential solutions, design specifications, and align on implementation, testing and training with Technology teams
4. Risk & control management
Define & communicate internal control framework for assigned processes, co-create mitigation measures with Internal Control unit
5. User & customer centricity
Define & maintain user experience concepts and solutions, integrate actions in assigned process activities
6. Performance measurement, reporting & value tracking
Leverage analytics to define, manage and monitor process KPIs and related reporting; conduct internal and external benchmarking to assess process maturity and identify best-in-class practices
7. Change management
Determine competencies for roles, develop training curriculums, identify change actions and coordinate with initiative roll-out and supporting Change agents
About You:
Qualifications & Requirements : 10+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare commercial operations with expertise in at least one Launch to Engage sub-process (Product Launch, Market Access & Pricing, Insights & Analytics, Omnichannel & Customer Engagement, Trade & Revenue Management, Customer Facing Operations, or SEE Engage-to-Report)
Education: Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
Master's degree or MBA preferred
Relevant certifications in process improvement (Lean Six Sigma) or project management (PMP) are advantageous
Proven track record in process implementation and systems deployment in a global pharmaceutical environment
Experience leading process improvement/transformation projects in matrix organizations
Minimum 3 years in global or multi-regional roles
Languages:
English mandatory (excellent spoken and written)
Additional languages are an asset given the global nature of the role
Preferred (not mandatory):
Experience in product launch activities or go-to-market strategy execution
Exposure to Global Business Services/Hub environment
Process enablement with AI/Machine Learning or automation tools
Experience in a GPO/BPM model environment

You will continuously work with BPLs, SMEs, and operational teams to deliver value and insights as a true partner in enabling business growth
You will collaborate closely with other GPLs within Launch to Engage and across other GTMC pillars to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration
As part of Sanofi's Hyderabad Global Delivery Center, you will contribute to building hub capabilities and cross-fertilizing best practices across the global GPL community

This is a full-time position with no additional responsibilities outside of the GPL scope
