Sanofi aims to employ ~1,900 people at 4 hubs by YE-2023, supporting 89% of Sanofi’s global presence.  The expanding hub teams are multi-generational and represent 40+ countries of origin, 14+ languages, and 80% have been with Sanofi less than 3 years.

Main responsibilities:

As the Workplace Experience, iWX and HSE Lead, Hyderabad Hub, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Sanofi Workplace Hub Operations and Health, Safety & Environment. You will lead the delivery of the iWX Services in line with the iWX Global MSA, creating an inclusive, efficient, and inspiring workspace that aligns with Sanofi’s culture and values. The role encompasses hospitality and workplace services, vendor relations, and employee well-being initiatives, along with ensuring the Hub and associated actions comply with local and Sanofi HSE requirements.

Workplace Experience Operations

  • Deploy the Workplace strategy at the Hub by optimizing the quality of experiences and guaranteeing the best working and social conditions; develop a continuous improvement approach to ensure the satisfaction of Residents and Guests
  • In line with the WX regional strategy, adapt & implement WX policies for the Hyderabad Hub
  • In alignment with the WX Hub Head, manage and optimize WX budgets for the Hub, ensuring consistency with regional cost allocations and policies
  • Ensure the office environment in the Hyderabad Hub is compliant with local legal and professional policies as well as Sanofi HSE objectives, along with Sanofi Office HSE requirements, as applicable
  • Perform site audits to ensure compliance and propose improvement plans
  • Ensure implementation of Digital Tools when necessary for good functioning of the sites (Access Control, appy, Occupant Sensors, etc.)
  • Manage complex projects within the Workplace Experience, Real Estate, HSE & Security scopes, as well as providing support and coordination as required
  • Work with the iWX Partner to define staffing needs and ensure appropriate staffing for the WX organization (Hub Level)
  • Manage the relationships with the key stakeholders for WX, RE and RiM Topics
  • Negotiate, align & manage services with External Service Partners
  • Implement, monitor & report KPI’s & follow up on efficiency of implemented processes, service provider optimizations, strategic objectives and customer satisfaction (WX Analytics Dashboard, Workplace Survey, etc.)
  • Support the WX Hub Head in leading the WX organization in the Hyderabad Hub by creating a culture of cooperation, collaboration and teamwork across the WX team and ensure a smooth interface with the relevant stakeholders
  • Implement RiM Policies and actions locally, in line with regional guidelines and directives
  • Ensure people development and talent growth to build a strong and professional team in the Hyderabad iWX and HSE Team, including with Teams from External Service Partners
  • Ensure compliance with policies/procedures in safety, security, accessibility and sustainability

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • In conjunction with the Country HSE Manager, coordinate the Country Risk Assessment program in collaboration with Head Office (HO), along with an appropriate HSE Plan (Multi Annual Plan) developed as a result of the risk assessment for the Hub, in collaboration with all levels of Hub Management and the same is communicated and understood by all Residents
  • Manage and monitor the delivery of Health, Safety & Environment initiatives to ensure quality and result orientation; Report on these in accordance with Corporate and regulatory processes
  • Implement HSE Management System as per Sanofi global protocol, along with maintianing a robust process of HSE regulatory compliance
  • Develop systems to ensure all work-related accidents (with and without injuries) are reported to the appropriate Managers in a timely fashion, supporting the investigation and analysis and developing the Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) Plan
  • Organize, prepare and monitor the Office Safety Steering Committee
  • Be a proactive actor of HSE matters within Business Continuity planning and implementation
  • Work closely with corporate colleagues to ensure that the Hub strategies are aligned with the Group policies and practices
  • Maintain strong collaboration with internal / external health & safety advisers ensuring compliance to health, safety and environment regulations, compliance and regulatory changes
  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviors whilst maintaining a safe work environment
  • Coordination of Site Emergency Response Plans and Teams (Fire Wardens & First Aid Officers), including ensuring appropriate training is conducted and their validity maintained
  • Develop the Health and Safety Induction program for Residents, Contractors and Guests
  • Coordinate Office HSE inspections in collaboration with area leaders, and support all Corporate Audits as required
  • Control of the Contractor Management system and Permit to Work for all activities within the Hub
  • Complete monthly, quarterly and annual reporting within expected timelines, including quarterly presentations to the India Country Council on the status of the Action Plans and what support is required
  • Design and implement a communication plan to increase Resident awareness and participation in creating a more environmentally friendly Hub including the coordination of energy efficiency and recycling programs
  • Deploy Occupational Health and Wellness initiatives for Residents
