The Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PSPV) aspiration is to be a cutting-age safety group, to enable us Sanofi to optimize the benefit-risk of our therapies, so we can best serve our patients and consumers. The PV Regions group is an international, dynamic, and culturally diverse team dedicated to the safety of Sanofi Products in regions/countries.

Norway is part of the North Europe Multi-Country organization where we all actively contribute to the North Europe PV team and local organization via projects and day-to-day collaboration.

Main responsibilities

  • Obtain and maintain thorough knowledge of company procedures and legal requirements regarding Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Medical Information (MI) and have good knowledge of the safety and MI aspects of the product portfolio
  • Support the Country Safety Head in Norway with PV related activities including but not limited to case management, local safety surveillance, safety issues and risk minimization. Contribute to a robust and efficient PV system via process optimization and training
  • Handle Medical Information inquiries arising from Health Care Professionals, patients and other customers
  • Contribute to the overall success of Sanofi by within the company sharing a good knowledge of PV requirements and how to implement them in business, and to contribute to the maintenance of good relations with customers and other external stakeholders

About you

  • Experience: Work experience from pharmaceutical industry or equivalent, preferably within pharmacovigilance or corresponding areas
  • Soft skills:
    • Strong skills in planning and prioritization
    • Awareness of need for accuracy with attention to details while seeing the big picture
    • Strong communication skills with health-care professionals, patients and colleagues
    • Strong interpersonal skills and cooperates well with colleagues
    • Team player.
  • Technical skills: Computer literacy, preferably good knowledge of MS tools and PV systems
  • Education: University degree in Life Science (Pharmacy, Medicine or equivalent)
  • Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian
