Job Purpose:

As the People Business Partner this role is key in delivering our People Priorities at the Site. 

To achieve success, it is critical that the People Business Partner is able to demonstrate the following capabilities:

Business Partnering

  • Leading activities as Strategic Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Training and Development, Performance Management, Compensation Review, Career and Succession planning / mapping for critical roles, Leadership Development
  • Coaching people managers on people management skill and leadership in their organizations.
  • Re-directing client groups to appropriate sources for query resolution
  • Responsible for employee relations & employer branding
  • Driving employee engagement
  • Leading change management activities.
  • Workforce planning & Personnel budget planning for the whole population of the CHC population at the Megrine Site.
  • Front to end Employee Services & process governance and implementation.
  • Talent management & performance management:       
  • Compensation and benefits

Employees relations, Labor Union partnership & External Affairs

  • Partner with business leader in all employee relations subjects, culture and partnership with the Labor Unions & their authorities.
  • Be the main contact points for all external industrial affairs

KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.Partner with IA and provide all HR operations & services at plants

- Manage front to end services and processes from hiring, training, compensation and benefits till termination or retirement process.

- Responsibility for headcount planning, budget planning, organization management, reports and analytics, system management, third party inspection/audits related to CNSS.

2. Partner with IA to develop HR solutions that transform our business and deliver the growth by working with relevant COE to seek out relevant interventions to address HR matters in procedures of recruitment, performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits, career path development.

3. Ensure compliance for all HR processes & policies effectively in IA and maintain HR data with integrity & accuracy.

4. Facilitate and coordinate all departments in IA to manage performance and build high performing culture.

5. Lead and provide consultation to business leader on trust culture building and help business to improve relationship with employees and Labor Unions; build direct connection channels between management team and employees to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.

6. Lead career development programs and ownership, development programs, succession planning for key positions in IA.

7. Lead and run all HR projects to improve high performing culture, conduct behavior and mindset change programs for IA people, prepare for IA to get more ready for the CHC Transformation Journey.

8. Partner with IA stakeholders to facilitate organization design and organization development.

9. Manage different stake holders internally and externally including the SITE Head, Labor Unions, Labor Union Authority departments and other external industrial stakeholders.

People Leadership

  • Where applicable performance manages the team through setting and reviewing priorities, provide timely feedback about performance and coaches team members to help them achieve their goals
  • Supports the professional and career development of the team by identifying the skills and competencies that employees need for their current and prospective roles and provide opportunities to learn and practice new skills
  • Leads the building of a motivated and engaged team through the use of formal and informal recognition, regular communications and the encouragement of cooperation between individuals and teams

Maintain Compliance 

  • Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company 

Ethical Leadership

  • Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.
  • Escalates any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the role

Environmental and Safety Leadership

To care for his/her own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, and to co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place of work.Employees are therefore expected to:

  • Support and conform to Company safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
  • Report any accident, incident or near miss, whether it be of personal injury or property damage
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents with the objective of introducing measures to prevent recurrence

Thoroughly read all safety documentation issues by the Company and comply with its requirements. Escalate any doubts or uncertainties to their supervisor and / or manager.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Education Level: minimum Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management / CIPD
  • Experience: min 5 years in a similar role
  • IA experience is a plus
  • Arabic & French Fluency is a pre requisite
  • English well spoken

Skills:

  • Strong Communication and negotiation skills especially in discussions with external stakeholders / Unions
  • Self-motivated individual who would be a Change Agent at the Site
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Budget Planning / Analytical skills
