As the Adult Vaccines Head for the Greater Gulf MCO, you will lead a dynamic brand strategy aligned with global directives, driving market growth and establishing a strong presence. This role demands deep insights into diverse healthcare systems, strategic agility, and effective collaboration with global teams. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage launches, and ensure compliance with local regulations. Key responsibilities include brand planning, stakeholder engagement, and leveraging segmentation for targeted communication, all while maintaining a focus on healthcare professionals' and patients' needs.

Main responsibilities:

  • Orchestrating a dynamic and cohesive brand strategy across MCO countries/cluster to establish a strong market presence and driving growth. This role demands a broad perspective, deep understanding of diverse healthcare systems and the agility to adapt strategies to suit various market needs and regulatory conditions.  
  • Being the key contact of the Global Franchises for the MCO and supports the definition of the global strategy by bringing the insights of the markets he/she oversees to the global team. 
  • Defining the MCO brand plans, adapting the key features of the global strategy to the specificities of go to market approach, customers, and channels, allocating the resources and being accountable of the success of the local engagement strategy in the achievement of the MCO goals on the brand. 
  • Leading with a glocal and transversal approach focusing specifically on meeting the needs of healthcare professionals and patients, adapting the competitive and environmental landscape, and leveraging segmentation and targeted communication to achieve strategic brand objectives, ensuring the brand’s value proposition is clearly communicated and understood.
  • Leading the business case preparation for any new launch or introduction within the brands and products in scope for the MCO, working with all relevant stakeholders in the definition of the launch plan or execution plan.
  • Continuously monitor the healthcare environment and competitive landscape, adapting strategies to maintain competitive advantage and compliance with local regulations.
  • Role model the Glocal wow, guaranteeing the highest level of usage of the CLH resources. Engages with local agencies, only and restricted to cases defined with the global franchise teams, for specific needs of campaigns not covered by CLH.
  • Facilitating the network of customer engagements leads in the MCO, ensuring regular touch points with the Head of Vaccines in the countries within the MCO to ensure full understanding of the needs, to challenge the specific requests and to ensure consistency globally and at MCO in the execution and implementation.
  • Specifically for the anchor market, leading Customer engagement lead teams in the execution as per local roadmap and strategy.
  • Manage Launch Readiness Reviews, Launch Performance Reviews and Sales Performance Reviews by country / cluster to monitor KPIs related to brand performance, market share and revenue growth & propose actions plans.

About you

  • Proven to lead the delivery of business results and create an engaged, diverse, and inclusive culture across a complex team of stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successful launch experience
  • Deep knowledge of Vaccines and preferably in RSV or Pediatrics specific area
  • Held direct Line-Management responsibility for a team.
  • Have solid experience in an international environment with track record of performance in Marketing and Sales and understanding Market Access and Public Affairs
  • Skilled at Brand P&L ownership, forecasting and budget negotiations.
  • Understanding Sanofi’s ambition for GTM transformation and are skilled in leading organizational change and excellence in execution.
  • Ability to communicate in a way that engages and inspires others at all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled at networking and influencing across complex internal and external stakeholder networks.
  • Strong cooperation transversally with Marketing, Public Affairs, Market access, Medical and commercial teams 
  • Capability to innovate, lead and drive change to achieve business goals and priorities.
  • Demonstrates a high level of drive and ambition for optimal business results and injects energy and enthusiasm into the organization.
  • Maintains effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of channel and campaign objectives.
