As a Patient Experience iCare Insights/Exchange Integrations Engineer at Sanofi, you will play a pivotal role in transforming patient data into actionable insights that drive better health outcomes. This position sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and patient focused healthcare innovation. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data integration solutions that connect our iCare platforms with various data sources, ensuring seamless data flow while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance. Your work will directly impact Sanofi's ability to deliver personalized patient experiences and support data-driven decision making across the organization.

Main Responsibilities
Drive the design of conceptual data models for analytical reporting and talk-to-data solutions that enable meaningful patient insights.
Implement and maintain data security best practices across all systems, ensuring protection of sensitive patient information.
Guide development teams toward industry best practices and standards for data integration, quality, and governance.
Conduct periodic code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with established standards.
Provide DevOps enablement skills and support CI/CD processes to streamline development and deployment workflows.
Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using IICS, Snowflake, AWS, and other relevant technologies.
Ensure strict compliance with Data Privacy regulations, Patient Data Security protocols, GDPR requirements, and other regulatory frameworks including data residency requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, regulatory, IT, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex data integration issues.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration solutions.
Support data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning sessions to align integration strategies with business objectives.
Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to continuously improve data integration capabilities.
Develop and implement data validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of integrated data.
Ability to drive Drive Data Mesh adoption to empower business domains with decentralized data ownership while ensuring interoperability and governance at scale.
Deploy enterprise-grade agentic solutions using Snowflake Cortex to enable self-service analytics through conversational AI, natural language data exploration, and intelligent query assistance.
Good to have: Design multi-agent architectures incorporating Model Context Protocol (MCP), retrieval-augmented generation, vector embeddings, agent orchestration frameworks, and observability tools for enterprise-grade autonomous AI solutions.
About You
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MS, MBA) preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data integration, data engineering, or similar roles.
Expert-level proficiency in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Python, Snowflake, and AWS cloud services and architecture.
Strong understanding of data security principles and implementation of security best practices.
Comprehensive knowledge of data privacy regulations including GDPR and healthcare data protection requirements.
Experience with data residency requirements and cross-border data transfer regulations.
Proficiency in SQL and database design principles.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to influence senior leadership and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Advanced skills in Agile delivery, product collaboration, compliance, and digital strategy.
Fluent in English; an additional language is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SQLDBM for database modelling and documentation.
AWS certifications.
Snowflake certifications.
Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of clinical data standards (CDISC, HL7, FHIR).
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Background in implementing data governance frameworks.
Experience with master data management solutions.
Technical Skills Required
Data Integration: IICS, ETL/ELT methodologies, API integration.
Cloud Platforms: AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue).
Data Warehousing: Snowflake architecture, performance and cost optimization.
Programming: SQL, Python, Shell scripting.
Security: Data encryption, access controls, authentication mechanisms.
DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerization.
Data Modelling: Conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
Version Control: GitHub/GitLab.
Documentation: Technical writing, data dictionaries, process flows.
