With your talent and ambition, we can do even more to put health in the hands of our consumers.  Your job, asManufacturing Technician (FTC or UTC) within our Virginia, Brisbane site, will be for ensuring the highest quality standards are being met whilst maintaining cost competitiveness.  You will be working alongside a world-class team, with state-of-the-art equipment, best working processes and collaborating with various stakeholders across the business.

Main responsibilities:

  • This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, predominately on Morning and Afternoon shifts

  • Carry out regular Quality Checks, rectifying any non conformances, providing ongoing training and identifying ongoing process improvements. 

  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are being adhered to in a safe and hazard free environment

  • Partner closely with various stakeholders from Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Packaging, Engineering, Supply Chain and more

  • Use your attention to detail and problem solving skills to trouble-shoot issues and find solutions

  • Take calculated risks that are within compliance to be action orientated and decision making

  • Reporting and administrative duties related to record keeping and procedures

  • Use your automation and technical skills to upskill and excel across operational, packaging and mechanical

About you

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing Facility (FMCG, Consumer or Pharmaceutical environment preferred)

  • Safety culture awareness

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of GMP

  • Automation, Packaging or Mechanical skills, compression , dispensary etc (the more, the better)

  • Tech savvy- Troubleshooting and problem solving

  • High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

  • Good written communication skills

Soft Skills:

  • Methodological and strategic thinking

  • Ambitious and eager to learn and develop

  • Ability to follow procedures

  • Good levels of autonomy

  • Team orientated and collaborative

Language:

  • Good working level of English required.
