Main Responsibilities

MCO Strategic Business Partner

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and key partner to MCO GBU leadership on all EBI-related matters, enabling sustainable business growth through thoughtful risk-taking
  • Maintain a comprehensive overview of MCO business activities, proactively partnering with management to identify risks, opportunities, and areas of potential vulnerability
  • Identify inefficient or ineffective processes and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize them in alignment with Sanofi's values and Code of Conduct
  • Steer and measure the efficacy of the EBI program, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and recommending actionable plans to GBU and functional leadership teams
  • Collaborate with peer Strategic Business Partners to support robust governance and ethical practices across the MCO
  • Provide independent judgment on EBI-related matters, develop remediation strategies, and deliver strategic oversight of the Sanofi EBI program
  • Report to the MCO EBI Head, providing regular updates on program performance and key risk areas

Country EBI Leadership – Poland & Ukraine

  • Lead the effective implementation of Sanofi's Global Ethics & Business Integrity strategy across assigned countries, operating as One Sanofi
  • Communicate and strengthen understanding of Sanofi's Code of Conduct and EBI priorities among all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and appropriate implementation of global policies, standards, and best practices in compliance with local regulations and Sanofi E&BI standards
  • Deploy EBI training, awareness, and communication campaigns to targeted audiences
  • Solve complex EBI issues with potential significant impact on the company's reputation
  • Report potential violations of laws, regulations, rules, policies, and company procedures; participate in investigations as requested by the Global EBI team
  • Ensure EBI Committees are held regularly and effectively, covering all matters with major impact on Sanofi's EBI program
  • Collaborate with other Sanofi assurance functions for integrated risk management, translating monitoring findings into actionable corrective measures
  • Conduct EBI risk assessment, collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement effective risk mitigation plans, communicates findings clearly through reports and presentations that translate technical risk data into actionable insights for decision makers. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Program Leadership

  • Work cross-functionally to foster ethical leadership, thoughtful risk-taking, and patient-centric solution design
  • Act as lead for EBI program element(s) across the MCO, ensuring program efficiency and effective workload management
  • Collaborate with country EBI Heads/teams and MCO management to design and implement corrective actions to remediate deviations, deficiencies, and preventive measures
  • Participate in the elaboration and implementation of specific EBI programs at country, regional, and global levels
  • Contribute to EBI local, regional, and global projects as a subject matter expert and change agent

About You

Education

  • University degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Finance, Law, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in compliance within pharmaceutical or healthcare multinational companies
  • Demonstrated track record of operating in complex, matrixed, and multicultural environments
  • Experience in country or regional EBI/compliance leadership is a strong advantage

Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of the global and domestic pharmaceutical industry
  • Deep understanding of healthcare business models, applicable laws, and regulations
  • Excellence with data, digital tools, and their application in compliance and risk management
  • Understanding of cross-functional business dynamics and stakeholder management in a global organization

Technical & Soft Skills

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex challenges into clear, actionable plans
  • People leadership — ability to inspire, influence, and lead without direct authority
  • Change management expertise with a proven ability to drive transformation
  • Customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset, always focused on outcomes for patients and the business
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills — able to engage and convince at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business networks across functions and geographies
