As a QC Team Leader you will take responsibility for the day to day operation of one of our QC Chemistry laboratories while also working with QC Management and fellow Team Leaders to devise a strategy for the optimisation of safety, compliance and operational excellence within the QC laboratories.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all activities within the laboratory are conducted in compliance with Sanofi safety & regulatory standards
  • Provide Analytical services and support to manufacturing departments
  • Support and Develop team members to ensure that they achieve their potential
  • Promote and Support Continuous Improvement activities to position your team for future challenges
  • Support new product launches and product transfers through engagement with the project team

About you

Experience:

  • Extensive experience at analyst level, with an established background in a leadership role

Soft skills:

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Problem solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace change and innovation and to initiate new and improved ways of working
  • You will be a highly motivated and self-driven leader of people
  • Initiative – able to work in a self-directed manner to see issues through to completion

Technical skills:

  • Excellent analytical ability, experience with Empower software preferred
  • Strong safety, quality and continuous improvement focus
  • Fluent English, both written and oral – essential

Education:

  • Honours Degree in a relevant Science discipline
