Applied Artificial Intelligence in R&D
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in the natural sciences.
- University degree with outstanding academic performance in areas related to artificial intelligence, computer science in drug identification and technology, and clinical translation.
Language Skills: German, English
Duration: 24 months
Start: Once per year
Locations: Frankfurt
Areas of Focus:
- Large Molecules, Integrated Drug Design, Preclinical Safety, Translational Disease Models; I&I, Drug Metabolism Pharmacokinetics, CMC.
- 2-3 rotations.
Qualification Program: Extensive soft skill seminars

Manufacturing & Supply
Required Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. in natural sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or engineering.
Language Skills: German, English
Duration: 24 months
Start: Typically twice a year, starting on April 1st and October 1st
Locations: Frankfurt am Main
Areas of Focus:
- Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Analytics, Process Development, Engineering, Automation, Digitalization, Plastics Engineering.
- 2-3 rotations
Qualification Program: Seminars and training in communication, GMP, Lean Management, project management.

Medical-Marketing-Sales
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in natural sciences or business administration (at least 6 months of experience in the pharmaceutical industry), international experience.
Language Skills: German, English
Duration: 24 months
Start: Typically 1-2 times per year
Locations: Berlin and Frankfurt, possibly Austria, Switzerland
Areas of Focus:
- Medical, Marketing, and Sales in our business units (General Medicines, Specialty Care & Vaccines)
- 2-3 rotations

Market Access & Public Affairs
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in business administration, economics, or natural sciences, international experience.
Language Skills: German, English
Duration: 24 months
Start: Typically every 2 years in the fall
Locations: Berlin, possibly Frankfurt
Areas of Focus:
- Market Access: Value & Access, Pricing, Contracting & Tender, Evidence-Based Medicine/HEOR, Payer Strategies, and Relationship Management; Public Affairs
- 4 rotations

People & Culture
Required Qualifications: Master's degree with a focus on Human Resources, practical experience in HR, international experience.
Language Skills: German, English, French is desirable
Duration: 24 months
Start: Typically once a year
Locations: Frankfurt, Berlin, possibly international locations
Areas of Focus:
- People Excellence Partnering, Center of Expertise: Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, Reward & Performance, Talent Management, Country Policies & DEI; Projects
- 3 rotations

Business Operations & Support
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in business administration, economics, or natural sciences – ideally with international experience.
Language Skills: German, English
Duration: 24 months
Start: Typically every 2 years in the fall
Locations: Berlin, Frankfurt
Areas of Focus:
- Omnichannel Management, Market Insights & Business Analysis, Data Management & Reporting, Customer Relationship Management
- 4 rotations
Qualification Program: Extensive soft skill seminars

Finance
Required Qualifications: Master's degree with a focus on controlling, auditing, accounting, taxation, banking, credit management, financing, financial planning/analysis, internal control. Relevant practical experience, international experience, system affinity, analytical skills.
Language Skills: German, English, French is desirable
Duration: 24 months
Start: Typically once a year
Locations: Berlin, Frankfurt
Areas of Focus:
- Core Finance areas: Management Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Systems and Reporting, or Treasury
- 3 rotations
Qualification Program: Extensive soft skill seminars
