Sanofi Business Operations is Sanofi’s Global Shared Service organization, providing comprehensive support across Europe, North America, China, JPAC, and other international regions. We deliver end-to-end services in key areas like CI2C, A2R, P2P, and HR. Additionally, our global Centres of Excellence (COE) help enhance these operations worldwide. In line with Sanofi’s strategic goals, our procurement function leverages supplier partnerships to add value and boost efficiency across our Central, Global, and Regional teams.

As part of the Global Procurement team, which spans Spare Parts, Industrial Maintenance, and Industrial Gases, this role supports the Industrial Maintenance process team. As a Global Buyer Maintenance, you will lead maintenance procurement for production equipment on a global scale, applying business acumen, strong negotiation, and agile decision-making skills to foster impactful partnerships and strategic value.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement global procurement strategies in Industrial Maintenance, ensuring added value for global industrial sites.
• Drive supplier performance through supplier relationship management (SRM), innovation, and strategic partnerships.
• Lead global negotiations, manage procurement projects, and support industrial maintenance initiatives across multiple sites.
• Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, risk assessments, and market studies to inform procurement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Sanofi’s health, safety, environmental, and ESG standards within procurement activities.
• Manage contract negotiation and execution, maintaining strong partnerships with key suppliers.
• Support data and financial consolidation for tracking savings and cost efficiency.

About you

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Procurement and/or Engineering/Maintenance, ideally within Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Proven record of managing and delivering complex procurement projects.
  

Soft skills:

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with business acumen.
• Effective communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders globally.
  

Education:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or an equivalent field.
  

Languages:

• Proficiency in English is required, and fluency in French or German is an added advantage.
