Scope and mission
Scope of the Process Specialist
Employee Life Cycle (ELC): from hiring to retiring, GBS HRS team is responsible to collect information and evidences to support hiring, national or international move, promotion, job changes, any type of termination. At any stage of the processes, GBS HRS is responsible for compliance and user experience. On and Offboarding is also part of the GBS HRS scope of services.
Master Data Management (MDM): GBS HRS team is responsible for data accuracy and data completeness according to the core model.
Connect to Resolve (C2R): GBS HRS team is responsible for knowledge articles that help employees to find answers to their queries at their fingertips. According to define process and SLA, GBS HRS is providing feedback on employees’ requests.
External Workforce (EWF): GBS HRS team is in charge of collecting and reporting on EWF data
IPT (International Permanent Transfer) and LFH (Local foreign hires): coordinate and monitor end-end IPT and LFH processes globally. Support and guide regions with related activities including: immigration, relocation, tax, internal validation, on- and offboarding, physical arrival, follow-up

Support developing and deploying the HRS Core Model
Develop
Support defining the high level GBS HRS strategy and governance
Communicate with all impacted stakeholders
Align with neighboring functions on the target roles and responsibilities
Support finalizing and maintaining the Core Model documentation (process flow, key management rules, RACI…)
Complete and enhance the knowledge base (MyPortal) with global articles
Align regional GBS captive leads around key elements of the core model
Support constructively challenging and arbiter critical, senior level stakeholders in ensuring adherence to model standards
Work with regional teams to review action plan to reduce gaps between local practices and global core model
Ensure the training/education of regional HRS operational heads, regional HRS SMEs
Identify automation and optimization opportunities, define requirements and manage project implementation
Act as Subject Matter Expert in support, escalation and interdependencies
Support the Global Process Performance reviews
Support defining the IPT/LFH GBS HRS strategy and governance
Deploy
Support organizing an effective governance approach to align with stakeholder functions to gather feedback for a high-quality service delivery
Support preparing the transition from Service Agreement model to a fully autonomous HR Services process & team for CHC employees within the GBS organization
Support coordinating GBS HRS activities and report on progress
Follow risks, identify mitigation actions, escalate when required
Communicate within GBS HRS about the GBS HRS project (goal, status…)
Support the social impact analysis
Support regional operations
Performance
Support relevant GBS HRS governance
Key point of contact for EELC (including IPT and LFH) process topics
Compliance
Support compliance with internal control requirements of HRS Globally defined Model, according to HRS Global Core Model
Support monitoring KPIs to report on HRS efficiency and accuracy
Ensures HRS operations are compliant with global Internal Control around the globe.
Projects
Continuous improvement, bottom up as well as top down.
Closely collaborate with other Global Process Owners for transversal initiatives (eg. HR COEs, Finance…)
Background and experience
- 2-4 years of experience in HR Services or Service Operations environment
- Very good understanding of HR Business Partner, HR COE, HR operations model and their interactions to bring value to business
- Experience within international permanent transfer and local foreign hire processes is an advantage
- Lean management mindset to deliver value to customers
- Strong self-organisation skills and project leadership experience
- Excellent communicator with an ability to discuss on different levels within Sanofi and externally ensuring an impactful communication.
- Mindset of challenging the status quo and exploring more effective ways of working through deployment of a “fail-fast and learn” culture
- Experience of embracing and delivering change within a multicultural organisation
- Fluent in English
