People Services Generalist-EWF (Fixed Term)

  • Location: Budapest – Sanofi Budapest HUB, Váci Greens

The People Services department is a dynamic operations team with a purpose to provide best in class advisory support & HR Solutions to our employees by ensuring efficient process completion at all stages of the employee lifecycle, while adhering to our principles of customer-centricity.

Moreover, People Services teams are working closely with People & Culture, Legal, Digital Services, CoE Business Partners, Workplace Experience, Purchases & Invoice, Payroll Partners and People Services front line teams in local countries and regions.

With respect to People Services (PS) operations in the Budapest Hub, the following areas are covered on a European or Global scale

  • People Life Cycle Management
  • Knowledge Base Management and Employee Query Handling
  • External Workforce Management
  • Global Learning Services
  • Quality, Performance, Employee Master Data & Reporting
  • Mobility Services

Reporting to the People Services Manager/ Team Leader for REGION, you will be acting as a key contact on HR processes for employees at all level, providing expertise on a wide range of topics, such as on and offboarding, job changes, hiring, absences, time & attendance, HR tools, Talent & Performance etc. & support the employees throughout their journey at Sanofi.

Within your role and your area of expertise, you will be in the driver seat to propose process changes, improvement initiatives and participate in the shaping of an efficient, innovative, and future-ready organization.

Please note, this is a maternity cover, therefore a fixed term contract will be provided to the successful candidate

In this role you will…

  • Coordinate and manage External Work Force activities in Systems as needed (Workday, Flext, Crew) and on the ground with the various stakeholders relating to Sanofi entities within the perimeter of SBS Europe, France and North America and deliver the services as per their respective Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure and manage the onboarding and offboarding for External Work Force
  • Ensure that changes are correctly reflected in all related systems
  • Monitor data quality and identify potential issues and take pro-active measures
  • Monitor, track and register the end-to-end life of the cases (activity tracker)
  • Execute in compliance with Sanofi policies and guidelines
  • Complete all activities as per the global Core Model and operational KPIs
  • Help ensure knowledge databases (DTP, manual, articles…) are updated; knowledge transfer occurs up/down streams
  • Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner
  • Master reporting in the different systems
  • Monitor operational KPIs and compliance with Sanofi policies and guidelines including GDPR
  • As owner of the support model provide Level 2 support for these sub-processes and propose expertise
  • Manage direct queries from employees via ticket
  • Participate in projects related to EWF
  • Participate in training/meeting to share info/knowledge with users/stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement proactively making proposals in relation to development of processes in his/her scope
  •  Focus on employee experience

Continuous improvement

  • Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities
  • Participate in process automation initiatives and ensure seamless adoption and transition
  • Identify issues, analyze root causes, propose and implement improvement actions 
  • Update country manual, work instructions and SOPs as new cases and information may arise

Background and Experience

  • Graduate or Master’s degree with HR or business administration
  • First hands on experience in a HR role preferably in an international multicultural environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in French is advantage
  • Broad understanding of HR process and activities (essential)
  • Awareness of data privacy rules (GDPR etc) is advantage
  • Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills

Technical

  • Computer literate and familiar with HR / Human Capital Management tools & systems as e.g. Workday
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced level proficiency in Excel

Interpersonal

  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with HRS front-line teams with an end-to-end mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Attentive to customer needs and feedback

Leadership

  • Organized and structured to execute tasks as per deadlines
  • Attentive to detail and works with precision
  • Action oriented, delivery driven, change agent
