GenMed Finance Business Partner (FBP)

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) provides holistic financial support to Egypt GenMed portfolio and oversees financial business partnering, to ensure the achievement of business objectives, focusing on growth and transformation.
The FBP aims to maximize the growth and profitability of growth assets as well as cash generation (notably through flawless execution of divestments).
She / He ensures focus on bold new approaches (e.g. digital), promotes innovation, speed, and agility to reach these objectives. The FBP works in partnership with local and global teams to steer the business, leveraging best practices sharing and scaling up, giving opportunities for people to develop new skills and gain diversified experience. The FBP ensures that all the above is done in compliance with good internal control practices.
As part of her/his main responsibilities, the FBP:
- Contributes to the business value creation by working closely with Business heads. Challenges the status quo aiming at improving efficiency in the way we do business (e.g. new Go To Market, digital model) as a One Pharma and One Finance team.
- Provides commercial and financial decision support aligned with strategic priorities and contributing to the Pharma Africa strategy.
- Identifies proactively financial risks and opportunities, developing corrective actions to close gaps where they are required.
- Ensures the consistency of macro-economic hypothesis in the planning / budgeting / forecasting processes.
- Is accountable for the affiliate performance (beyond budget tracking) to identify risks and opportunities to dynamically re-allocate resources she/he oversees.
- Prepares forward-looking analyses, focusing not only on past performance but also foreseeing Risks & Opportunities in coming quarters/years with action plan proposals to ensure target achievements.
- Co-pilots and challenges the business investments and resource allocation through the appropriate use of KPIs, prioritization measures, and operational analysis.
- Is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing the Controlling processes within its perimeter and ensuring that Internal Control requirements are met.
- Works with GenMed finance teams to deliver simplifications and BOI through global and local divestments initiatives.
- Develops accurate financials for the forecasts, budget, strategic plan processes that reflect the business strategy.
- Coordinates with key internal stakeholders across various disciplines and groups.
- Ensures the right level of financial communication within GenMed and alignment with Business / Financial Planning Performance
Supports the change management to drive transformation within Pharma for the respective markets within scope ,she/he oversees and is in charge of.

- Abide by the requirements of the code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company

- Properly use the work equipment, dangerous substances, and preparations as well as the supplied collective and personal protective equipment according to the instructions received.
- Promote and follow the HSE rules and ‘Act responsibly’ to protect yourself and others from an injury and ill health conditions while at the work locations and/or while using road e.g. traffic rules, emergency evacuation procedure, medical surveillance, healthy lifestyle etc.
- Engage the HSE department in the related activities (where applicable) and be sure that the work performed follows the local HSE regulations, Corporate HSE Policy and key requirements.

Education and Experience
- BA or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar
- +8 years of relevant experience with a deep business acumen and detailed market knowledge, other business experience is a Plus.

- Strong Business acumen with experience within the Pharma industry
- Great ability to multi-task, Result orientation, and agility.
- Strategic thinking: Anticipate future trends, and “what if scenarios”, deal with complexity, and build a comprehensive business strategy.
