OurGlobal Digital Business Teamis focused on driving and accelerating digital transformation via delivery of digital products (marketing technology platforms, digital therapeutics, patient support, Medical, AI, etc.) across the different Global Business Units, therapeutic areas and markets.Our digital products are directed at patients first, but also physicians and/or payers. This team works to implement Sanofi’s Digital strategy by bringing dedicated expertise internally at Sanofi and externally with digital and/or technology partners to build the core digital foundation and drive growth thru digital across all business areas.

Your Mandate:

As Head of Direct-to-Consumer and Digital Health, you will oversee, for Sanofi, all aspects of direct digital engagement with patients mobile first, pre- and post- prescription, with the objective to define and implement solutions that deliver a first-in-class and/or best-in-class experience for our patient, and the expected outcome to accelerate the diagnostic, foster the onboarding and maximize the adherence and compliance of patients.

The Product Line Owner (PLO) is fully accountable for overall digital product strategy, oversight and delivery for the Product Line deliveringbusiness value to the business area’ stakeholders.

This will require working closely with the different Business area senior leaders, across the different digital product owners, Digital Business Analytics,Technology, Services and Experts to ensure that we are clearly identifying customer needs, prioritizing features, guiding the work throughthe Program Kanban and developing the program vision and roadmap.

Working closely with Digital Business leaders, the role drives the overall awareness, prioritization, and orchestration of resources (budgetand manpower) to deliver digital solutions on prioritized Digital assets identified and agreed to at the Digital Towers.

Digital Business Impact:

The role will spearhead in the development of business approach to identify, measure and monitor the businessimpact of each and across multiple digital solutions that your team will bring to market. This requires close partnership with the Head of Digital Business Analytics and Financeteams across business areas and digital organization to create awareness and consistency in the way we measure and report out on thebusiness impact.

A critical aspect of this role is presentation of digital product milestones at the Digital Towers to the Executive Teams in the Business areaand the CDO.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting strategy, leading and managing the digital product portfolio with a goal to scale to a global distribution
  • Be the internal voice of the customer for the digital connected ecosystem and digital solutions and works with customers to constantly understand and communicate their needs and participate in the validation of the proposed solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Consumer Experience teams to define ecosystem and design deliverables
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, Businesses, strategy, operations to understand the feasibility and subsequent deliverability of new products or product enhancements
  • Define, create and communicate product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and supported by business cases, market research, customer data, user research and competitive analysis
  • Continuously develops and communicates the vision to the development teams and defines the features of the system
  • Is largely responsible for release definition, deciding when enough value has been accrued to warrant a release to the customer
  • Participates to program increment objectives approval and business value achievement measurement
  • Builds and manage cross functional team/scrum team, including quality/legal/RA
  • Define KPI and value proposition and act according to impacts (Continue, Adjust or stop)
  • Ensures that Digital Product/computerized system meets all controls to address applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements

About you 


Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • M.S In Computer science or Information Systems or MBA is preferred

Experience

  • Track record of successful implementation in the domain of Direct-to-Consumer absolutely required
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional business experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust quickly, high degree of empathy and expertise at managing senior, cross-functional relationships and grow collaborative partnerships, proactively and consistently inspire others, to achieve business outcomes in an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills to define and communicate coherent vision and purpose, distill complex issues into clear and actionable recommendations, draw conclusions, make recommendations, establish areas of responsibility, anticipate costs, identify measures of success, and assist in execution clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated experience as a leader with the ability to attract, recruit, and develop talent, connect both on an individual level and in large groups, foster, encourage and (when needed) enforce accountability, cultivate entrepreneurship, and learn the strengths and weaknesses of the team ensure all succeed
  • Lead in a dynamic environment of change, challenge, and multiple priorities, resolving obstacles, impediments, and roadblocks by effectively partnering with executives to manage sponsorship and accomplish goals
  • Strategic thinker, with a track record of delivering results, exceeding goals and making credible and actionable decisions through a combination of analysis, experience, judgment and insight
