As Intercompany Center of Excellence (CoE) Key User within our Intercompany Financial Management team, you’llbe responsible for delivering support to any colleague contributor of complex intercompany accounting services and providing detailed process and/or data analysis to fit with system expected behavior. The role is also focused on addressing and resolving operational system issues, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, and contributing to the company's continuous improvement initiatives.

Main responsibilities:

• Intercompany Transactions Expertise:

• Support all intercompany transactions, including billing, reconciliations, and settlements.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of intercompany transactions in the financial system.

• Coordinate with various departments to resolve intercompany discrepancies and issues.

• Systems Management:

• Monitor financial systems for incidents and ensure timely resolution of any issues.

• Manage and prioritize change requests related to intercompany processes and systems.

• Collaborate with IT to implement system enhancements and updates.

• Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.

• Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of intercompany transactions.

• Develop and maintain intercompany policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize intercompany workflows and systems.

• Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations related to intercompany transactions.

• Prepare and review intercompany reports and financial statements.

• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external and internal audits.

• Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to finance and non-finance staff on intercompany processes and systems.

• Act as the primary point of contact for intercompany-related inquiries and issues.

• Foster integration with other streams key-user / Global Process Expert / Business Process Owners.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with other finance team members, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger teams.

• Collaborate with business units and subsidiaries to ensure alignment and consistency in intercompany practices.

About you

• Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on intercompany transactions.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems: necessarily SAP especially modules FI-SD-MM-CO.

• Soft and technical skills:  

• Experience with incident monitoring and change request management.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

• Education: (ask for qualifications only if they are essential for performing the role)

• Good accounting technical skills.

• Languages:

• Fluency in English mandatory and other European languages are desirable.
