This role sits within the SAP Center of Excellence team at Consumer Healthcare (CHC) Digital. We are a dynamic team passionate about accompanying Opella CHC through its most exciting and challenging journey as it seeks to become a fully carved in P&L within Sanofi.

Main responsibilities:

• Own ABAP RICEFW development activities for BAU/projects that run for SAP S/4 HANA platform and integrated applications.
• Responsible for discussing on the scope of developments with implementation partners, external stakeholders.
• Provide Guidance for Conflict Management and Retrofit process of transports.
• Design and build development best practices, standards, norms for S4HANA developments.
• Design, implement and execute sustainable governance to make sure each stakeholder in the development process is following the right process and tools with norms/standards/security rules.
• Engage with implementation partners and functional teams to ensure development delivery is time and cost efficient. Follow up the delivery plan and quality with implementation partners, execute quality controls on delivered development.
• Support SAP Platform team for projects & run including refreshes, patch sessions, technical upgrades whenever development relevant activity is necessary.
• Propose strategy to identify issues and prioritize by engaging with relevant stakeholders, align on action plans and manage development lifecycle optimization.
• Ensure solution documentation & capitalization of knowledge, organize knowledge transfer within the team and upskilling as required.
• Collaborate with Integration teams to assess and provide technical architecture solution for interfaces (IDOC, SOAP, etc)
• Responsible for setting up the right security standards for developments and ensuring to secure the system from vulnerability with best development best practices.
• To assess the development add-ons in the system and suggest improvements that help to optimize system efficiency of usage.
• To ensure the production system is stable without any development risks and to support technical solutions of priority incidents.

About you

Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years’ work experience on SAP Development, including experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and lifecycle projects.
• Hands-on Expertise on SAP ABAP on HANA, CDS, HANA Developments.
• Should have project experience in leading ABAP developers and team.
• Experience in CAP Developments in BTP
• Knowledge in IT service management and tools (ITIL, ServiceNow, Solman).
• Knowledge in Scrum, Agile and Digital methodologies.
• At ease with Microsoft Office tools and having good presentation skills
• Knowledge of technological trends.

Technical skills:

We are looking for S4HANA ABAP Development lead who has strong expertise in following technologies:

• ABAP on S4HANA, RICEFW Developments, Workflow developments and BRF+, Strong ABAP OO , CDS ,Native HANA, SAP BTP, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules , Interface developments ( IDOC, AIF )and Optimization, Database Procedures, SAP FIORI Architecture
• Strong understanding of Integration technologies (ALE/RFC/Idocs, Webservices, OData, Tibco, Informatica, RFC/IDoc, SOAP, RESTful..)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E.) or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering

Languages: Fluent spoken and written English
