About the job

Main responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the Country Trade Strategy in terms of Channel and portfolio mix, Commercial policy and Pricing (Pricing strategies/structure/management). Establishing a clear governance model to Revenue Management at MCO/country level via the Pricing and Trade Committee and managing Trade & Pricing committee meetings in line with Sanofi policies
  • Driving of Trade investment and Pricing processes from end-to-end, fully engaging and providing benchmark, guidance and specific recommendations to all relevant Business Units and functions (including Finance, Business excellence Supply chain, IS) and leveraging synergies across BU’s
  • Performing robust analysis that provide greater visibility of the value chain economics (pricing, commercial conditions, trade margins) and bring insights to actionable commercial strategies that deliver absolute Gross Margin growth. Provides benchmark of current practices across the businesses including commercial conditions strategy, governance and organization / best practice sharing.
  • Recommend trade investment and commercial policy optimization to improve and maximise the effectiveness of Trade investments including validation of business content and alignment of channel/customer incentives linked with performance.
  • Monitoring the return on trade investments. Establish and set up of relevant key profit improvement metrics and KPIs (pricing discounts, cost-to-serve elements, product mix) to ensure competitive management of commercial conditions at the different levels of the organization.
  • Contributing to define tender prices to maximize profitability of Sanofi.
  • Ensure the following controls are implemented:  Commercial conditions are approved at country/MCO level and validated by relevant function head; Gross-to-Net elements are analyzed and inconsistencies are escalated; Off-invoices deductions are verified and approved; Net prices in the commercial conditions are monitored against prices approved in GPS.
  • Lead a change management program to increase skills and capabilities in key functions, resulting in increased awareness and aligned focus on commercial policy excellence/ Revenue management.
  •  Roll-out of various T&RM tools & analyses.

About you

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in business or management is preferable

Work experience:

  • 3+ years of proven successful experience in revenue management, analytical positions

Key Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial policy, commercial & business drivers
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Excellent MS Excel knowledge
