Support local execution of global strategies and processes across GBU / GF. Work with People Business Partner and COEs to execute against local people priorities and provide operational in-country support, focused on delivering foundational P&C excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Reflect changes in local processes, procedures and policies according to CoE guidelines
- Support delivery of people & culture activities that require on-site presence or where local language requirements cannot be covered by the hubs
- Talent Acquisition – Support on-site activities as required in partnership with TA team. Obtain approvals from works council/union where applicable
- Talent Management – Deliver P4G workshops to upskill People Managers. Engage in calibration talent reviews as needed to support 1st line managers. Prepare talent review materials to support PBPs. Support employees and managers locally in development advice
- Learning – Support on-site learning admin and handle local audit of learning delivery in partnership with Learning COE
- Rewards and Recognition – Support adjustment and negotiation of collective labor agreements, manage personnel cost/ budget, local plans and exceptions
- Insights – Handle reporting request using local data sources (e.g., local government reports)
- Org Design and Effectiveness - Implement organizational changes in local systems (if required), manage reorganizations by supporting union/ works council negotiations as well as managing the transition/ exit of people
- Employee Relations – Support P&C director in liaising with local co-determination bodies and advise managers on employee relations matters & handle cases end-to-end
- Mobility - Support on-site relocation if necessary, e.g., in-person confirmation of employment
- Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process improvement ideas and implementation
- Maintain Compliance: Abide by the requirements of the code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company.
- Ethical Leadership: Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (including the Industry Code of Practice, Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.
- Environmental and Safety Leadership : To care for his/her own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, and to co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place of work. Employees are therefore expected to:
- Support and conform to Company safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
- Report any accident, incident or near miss, whether it be of personal injury or property damage
- Thoroughly read all safety documentation issues by the Company and comply with its requirements.
- Health, Safety and Environment Responsibilities: Comply with company procedures and current regulations on hygiene and safety.
- Properly use the work equipment, dangerous substances, and preparations as well as the supplied collective and personal protective equipment according to the instructions received.
- Promote and follow the HSE rules and ‘Act responsibly’ to protect yourself and others from an injury and ill health conditions while at the work locations and/or while using road e.g. traffic rules, emergency evacuation procedure, medical surveillance, healthy lifestyle etc.
- Engage the HSE department in the related activities (where applicable) and be sure that the work performed follows the local HSE regulations, Corporate HSE Policy and key requirements.
- Attend HSE training.
- Promptly report to your superior any dangerous conditions of which you become aware
- Proactively encourage all line managers and employees to utilize ESS/MSS and One Support
- Perform any other ad hoc duties commensurate with role level
About you

- Demonstrated capability to engage constructively with stakeholders across different levels
- Stay abreast of relevant developments in function- including relevant legislations
- Fluency in English and French are a must
- 5yrs Generalist HR experience
- Union management experience
