Site Security Head

  • Location: Megrine

  • Contract: Full Time

About the job

Responsible for the effective management of all security risks of the site organization: personnel, facilities, assets, and information. The role is the first point of contact for the site management team in security related questions and will operationally manage all security issues the affiliate is facing. The role is also responsible for the implementation of global security policies and the development of local procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Crisis Management & Business Continuity:

  • Supporting the implementation of the Crisis Program, collaborating closely with the Country Crisis CoordinatorLeader, and adhering to the Country Crisis Risk Matrix.
  • Taking part in the preparation, coordination, testing and implementation of Crisis Response Plans in alignment with the Crisis Matrix
  • Assisting in the development of the country Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
  • Collaborating with Site Security Correspondents across all CHC sites to reinforce the Crisis and Business Continuity (BC) programs.
  • Offering expertise, guidance, and management during security crises to ensure effective resolution.

People & Event Security:

  • Defining security and assistance measures to ensure the safety of all categories of employees.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for business travellers, both international and domestic.
  • Providing support, upon request, for organizing business trips for Highly Exposed Persons within the country.
  • Assisting event owners by conducting risk assessments and overseeing the implementation of appropriate security measures for sensitive events.

Site Security

  • Ensure the physical protection of CHC sites in the country (industrial and workplace). 
  • Assist the site security partners in the design of security systems and in the coordination of all practical and technical aspects. Coordinate the security arrangements with M&S, HSE, Workplace Experience and the landlord.
  • Support the global audit program by conducting threat assessments, self-assessments and support in the preparation and conduct of on-site audits.
  • Draft the annual action plan to be reviewed by the MCO Security Head and the Site Head. Ensure its timely implementation.
  • In case services are outsourced (e.g. Distribution Centers), define security requirements, and make sure the service provider is complying.
  • Define and test the Emergency Response Plan.

Information Protection & Insider Risk Management

  • Roll-out and maintain the Information protection program on country level. In collaboration with Legal and Data Privacy, take into consideration any local regulations that could impact the program.  
  • Conduct Security awareness campaigns on information classification & protection, online risks and the Information Protection Program in general.

Product Security

  • Ensure product security at industrial site, distribution center, during transportation and for the destruction of pharmaceutical waste. Promote the use of product protection solution to check authenticity of product.
  • Detection: research, analyse, and distribute information relative to cases of all products security attempts (Counterfeiting, Thefts, Diversion) for all CHC products.
  • Investigations: manage the cases with appropriate third parties and authorities at country level for ensuring results and efficiency.
  • Partnership with relevant stakeholders: contribute to dismantling networks involved in illicit medicine sales and trafficking by collaborating with all national relevant authorities to obtain their support in detection and action.

About you

We are looking for a potential candidate to provide dedicated security support to CHC Tunisia - High integrity, leadership, and relevant professional experience in Corporate Security.

  • Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Private security management with proven track record in building and leading cross functional team.
  • 10 years leading/working with geographically dispersed team members.
  • 10 years delivering risk assessments within a Security organization
  • 10 years’ experience in managing emergency situation.
  • 5 years experience in Supply Chain security

  • Soft Skills:

  • Effective communication skill (oral & written), capacity to develop a strategy thinking while managing operational ones, capacity to resist to stress and pressure.
  • Sound judgment and ability to work independently with minimal supervisory oversight.
  • Talent building effective partnerships and working collaboratively cross-functionally.
  • Solid understanding of physical and reputational risk factors and methods for mitigating such risk.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to competently juggle numerous competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience managing subordinate, subcontractor, or vendor security integrator support to include all aspects of project planning, scheduling, subcontract scope definition and management.
  • An acute sense of discretion and ability to manage highly confidential information.
  • Strong fiscal discipline and ability to expertly manage large budgets.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible.
  • A positive attitude and hunger for learning and growth.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial.
  • Demonstrated commitment to CHC’s core values.

  • Technical skills:

  • Field and IT security expertise, Data & risk management tools, team & cross services management, tender process and negotiation skills.
  • Relevant work experience in private security companies or department highly preferred.

  • Languages: Fluent in Arabic, English & French.
