Relevant du Chef de l'information médicale au Canada, le titulaire du poste sera chargé d’assister à l'élaboration, à la gestion et à la mise en œuvre d'objectifs stratégiques et tactiques en matière d'information médicale (IM) pour l'ensemble des produits de Sanofi dans de vastes domaines thérapeutiques.

Le titulaire de ce poste est également responsable d'assister à la gestion des activités d'information médicale qui sont harmonisées sur un modèle opérationnel mondial. Ces activités comprennent, sans s'y limiter, la création de contenu médical et la gestion des demandes d'informations médicales provenant de clients externes et internes.

Principales responsabilités

Services d'information médicale :

  • Assister à la gestion des activités d'information médicale et participer à ces activités à titre de collaborateur individuel.

  • Créer des réponses standard fondées sur des données scientifiques, pertinentes, objectives et balancées pour les produits locaux de Sanofi au Canada et gérer le processus de révision local.

  • Adapter les documents de réponse standard des produits mondiaux aux besoins du marché local.

  • Créer d'autres contenus médicaux si nécessaire pour répondre aux besoins locaux.

  • Répondre aux demandes d’information médicale transmises au deuxième niveau d’information   médicale

Activités du centre de contact pour l'information médicale (MICC) :

  • Assurer la qualité des informations fournies à nos clients en soutenant et en supervisant le fournisseur externe du CCIM qui fournit des informations factuelles et une expertise scientifique ponctuelle sur les produits de Sanofi.

  • Fournir des instructions au fournisseur externe du CCIM, en temps opportun, en réponse aux demandes quotidiennes.

  • Fournir un soutien au fournisseur externe du CCIM pour la prise en charge initiale des événements indésirables et des plaintes concernant les produits, en collaboration avec les équipes de pharmacovigilance et d’assurance qualité.

  • Effectuer le contrôle de la qualité du fournisseur externe du CCIM.

  • Fournir périodiquement de la rétroaction et de la formation au fournisseur externe du CCIM afin d'optimiser les services d'information médicale.

Opérations d'information médicale :

  • Participer aux opérations d'information médicale afin d'assurer l’harmonisation et la cohésion dans l’ensemble de l'organisation mondiale de l'IM.

  • S’assurer que toutes les activités soient menées dans un cadre réglementaire et de conformité optimal.

  • Contribuer à la gestion des audits et inspections liés à l'information médicale.

  • Exécuter d’autres activités liées à l’information médicale au besoin.

Données et perspectives:

  • Surveiller et analyser les données liées aux demandes des clients, et repérer des tendances et des observations afin de répondre de façon continue aux besoins des clients et d’offrir un niveau élevé de service.

Innovation :

  • Favoriser l'innovation en évaluant, en développant et en mettant en œuvre de nouvelles méthodes de travail pour Medical Information.

Projets régionaux / mondiaux NA :

  • Participer à diverses initiatives mondiales de l’information médicale, GMI (locales, régionales ou mondiales) le cas échéant.

Qualifications requises:

  • Doctorat, Pharmacie, Médecine, Maitrise ou équivalent.

  • Au moins deux (2) ans d'expérience dans le domaine de l'information médicale.

  • Une expérience de la gestion des fournisseurs serait un atout.

  • La gestion d'une équipe interfonctionnelle est également un atout.

  • Expérience dans la contribution aux audits et inspections liés à l'information médicale.

  • Capacité à défendre des projets.

  • Compréhension de l'impact du changement et mise en œuvre efficace de nouvelles approches.

  • Connaissances scientifiques et expérience de la rédaction.

  • Maîtrise d'Excel, de PowerPoint et de Word (environnement Microsoft).

  • Une expérience dans l'utilisation des systèmes Sales Force et Veeva serait un atout.

  • Orientation client ; sens des relations interpersonnelles et respect des personnes.

  • Bonnes compétences en matière de présentation et maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (parlé et écrit).

  • Disponibilité pour des déplacements internationaux occasionnels (moins de 5 %).

Langues :  

  • Une connaissance de l’anglais et du français est requise pour le rôle.

Manager, Medical Information

Position summary

Reporting to the Medical Information Canada Lead, the incumbent will be responsible to assist in the development, management, and implementation of strategic and tactical Medical Information (MI) objectives across Sanofi products within broad therapeutic areas.                                                      

The incumbent is responsible to assist with the management of MI activities which are aligned with a globalized operating model. They include but are not limited to creation of medical content and management of medical information requests from external and internal customers.

Key responsibilities

Medical information services:

  • Assist in management of medical information activities and partake in these activities as an individual contributor.

  • Create evidence-based, accurate, current, and fair-balanced standard responses for local Sanofi products and manage the local review process.

  • Adapt global product standard response documents for local market needs.

  • Create other medical content as needed to support local needs

  • Respond to escalated medical information requests.

Medical Information Contact Centre (MICC) activities:

  • Ensure quality of the information provided to our customers by supporting and monitoring MICC external supplier who is providing just in time evidence-based information and scientific expertise on Sanofi products.

  • Provide guidance to MICC external supplier in a timely fashion on day-to-day requests.

  • Provide support to MICC external supplier for primary intake of adverse events and product complaints, in collaboration with Pharmacovigilance and Quality Assurance teams.

  • Perform quality control of MICC external supplier.

  • Provide regular feedback/training to MICC external supplier to optimize Medical Information services.

MI operations:

  • Assist in medical information operations to ensure alignment and cohesiveness across MI global organization.

  • Ensure all activities are conducted within an optimal regulatory and compliance framework.

  • Contribute to the management of Medical Information related audits and inspections.

  • Fulfill other Medical Information activities as required.

Data and Insights

  • Track and analyze data on customer inquiries and identify trends and insights to continuously

  • meet customer needs at a high level of service.

Innovation

  • Drive innovation by evaluating, developing, and implementing new ways of working for Medical Information.

NA Regional/ Global project

  • Participate in various GMI initiatives (local, regional, or global) as applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD, PharmD, MD, Master's or equivalent.

  • At least two (2) years of Medical Information experience.

  • Vendor management experience would be an asset.

  • Management across cross-functional team would be an asset as well.

  • Experience in contributing to Medical Information related audits and inspections.

  • Ability to champion projects.

  • Understanding the impact of change and effectively implements new approaches.

  • Scientific knowledge and writing experience.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Microsoft environment).

  • Experience in using Sales Force and Veeva systems would be an asset.

  • Customer focus; interpersonal savvy with respect for people.

  • Good presentation skills and advanced French and English - (spoken and written).

  • Availability for occasional international travel (less than 5 %).

Languages:  

  • Knowledge of both English and French is required for the role.
