Drive the digital transformation of Sanofi China Supply Chain in local GxP environment

• Initiate and evolve the B2B E-commerce platform to address local customer needs, increasing the efficiency of transactional work through continuous digitalization. 
• Pilot the logistics control tower to enable full visibility of logistics E2E activities and orchestrate the logistics planning with big data and IOT technology.  
• Deploy digital tools and lean methods to simplify the work for market supply chain operational staff.
• Deploy supply chain BI platform on Power BI to enable visibility on key supply chain matrix, and support the decision making process of sales execution, shipment control, and allocation via an orchestrated and digitalized S&OE process.

Ensure Trade & Customs Compliance within the China Manufacturing & Supply Team

• Considered the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in China Trade and Customs regulations.
• Maintain Sanofi operations and compliance activities in accordance with applicable customs and import laws and regulations, Sanofi policies, procedures, and controls, in collaboration with Sanofi Global and other local cross-functions, including the identification, quantification, escalation and mitigation of compliance risks.
• Developing and implementing internal trade compliance controls and associated procedures, product and material scope, related record keeping practices, training to applicable groups and continuous improvement and optimization of related processes.
• Managing the communication channels with major Trade & Customs authorities and assisting with the customs audit/disputes in collaboration with Sanofi Global and other Sanofi local cross-functions.
• Monitoring and interpreting legislation and regulations to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements including Customs, NMPA, etc.

Apply LEAN and AGILE concepts to optimize business processes and tools to standardize and simplify supply chain operations.

• Create lean culture via the training, workshop, contest, case sharing and recognition program within supply chain.
• Facilitate a series of Kaizen and CII within supply chain planning, distribution, and customer service to remove redundancy in operation (cost / manhour) while filling the void of necessary cross-functional process including the manufacturing site to avoid operation disruption.
• Cooperate with global team to lead from local operational and digital perspective the harmonization of local O2D process to achieve the best-in-class customer experience (Gartner standard) while in compliance with local GxP regulations.

Design supply chain model to solve the strategic and tactical challenges in local supply chain

• Utilize the modeling tool - AIMMS to optimize the domestic DC network design to ensure the service level to customer while achieving the best cost.
• Drive the cost saving projects at operational level by deploying the model fitting for cost optimization (eg. Shipment consolidation model)
• Standardize the stock transfer process and tools (STO) to ensure all products are allocated to 6 regional DC’s with adequate transfer quantity.   The in-stock% at DC level witnessed an increase of 2% after the implementation of the tool

• Min 10+ years of relevant supply chain and operation experience, including 5+ years of trade & customs experience preferably in a similar industry.
• Supply chain digitization and project management experience are required.

• Extensive knowledge of import and export laws and regulations and classifications.

  • Minimum University Degree, technical or business (Master’s degree preferred);
  • APICS Certified CSCP/CPIM is a plus
