Are you a Service orientated professional with experience managing medium-large sites and a track record of creating exceptional workplace experience? As the Facilities & Workplace Experience Lead for our Australian sites (Brisbane and Sydney), you will join a newly created global team and help form the strategic roadmap, and implement new business models for Real Estate, and champion the workplace Experience and culture. Based onsite in Virginia, Brisbane, you will be responsible for all activities related to the sites, acting as the main point of contact for the Landlord services- coordinating and supervising all relations (internal and external providers), enabling all employees and guests to work in a safe, innovative and efficient environment that is in accordance with relevant local laws and regulations, corporate HSE and CSR policies and economic standards. This is a highly autonomous stand-alone role, however, you will work closely with the local management, including the country leadership teams and Managers of global function located at the Sites, Reporting to the Regional Site Lead Japan/Australia.

Main responsibilities
First point of contact for all services provided by the Landlord (Real Estate and Workplace Experience) for 2 x sites
You will be the Site Lead for the main site in Brisbane (approx 110 people) and will coordinate all activities for the other site in Sydney (Approx 35 head count- this will potentially be a co-working, access segregation or Opella Space)
The expert in Workplace Experience, HSE & Security compliance at the sites
Management of all activities and resources to keep the Opella spaces in line with the business expectations and budget (incl. processes). You will negotiate and coordinate agreements with external service providers and monitor service provision
You will implement all security guidelines for the sites and our employees in connection to the Global Site security guidelines, including emergency response and readiness
Responsible for the implementation of legal and company internal HSE guidelines to prevent occupational accidents and diseases within your area of responsibility. This includes the regular communication of Occupational Safety topics and the implementation of occupational safety training based on the risk assessment and the HSE strategy
Create multi-annual improvement plan endorsed by the main Stakeholders on the Sites (Country leadership team)
Define, control, and manage a competitive Workplace Experience budget
Point of Contact for the Business Opella Head for all activities related to the sites and participate in the Global CHC RE and Workplace network
Café catering contractor and maintenance of café amenities including furniture and appliances, aswell as management of supplies/kiosks for drinks
Conduct site induction for all new starters for the Commercial office to ensure site requirements are adhered to as well as supervising with Reception for the contractor onboarding process
You will be the “Hospitality” lead and will have to define the “hospitality” approach for the sites including Events organization with a strong focus on the main site
You will be responsible to maintain the sites at the requested standard in term of sustainability, brands Centricity and Opella Culture
Management of pest control assessment for all of Site, and relationship with waste contractors to ensure standards are maintained and point of escalation for any issues raised by the site
External and internal commercial office maintenance including external roof areas
Attendance at Body Corporate meetings for site management
Fire Prevention and detection through site in close collaboration with Site Engineer
About You
Qualifications:
Advanced training and certifications in HSE
Experience:
Must have held a Site Head position within Hospitality, Commercial or Shared Services industries (preferred)
Proven experience in Hospitality management
Knowledgeable in HSE and Workplace experience
Technical & Soft Skills:
High level communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive in nature and ability to work autonomously
Continuous improvement and Customer Centric mindset
Leadership skills to manage team of internal and external stakeholders (ie. Reception, external contractors)
Efficient management of budgets and leveraging resources
Ability to juggle multiple conflicting priorities and projects
Bring high level of energy and can-do attitude
