SAP S/4Hana Business Enablement Order to Cash lead

  • Location: Barcelona, Spain

As part of Sanofi's strategic initiative to harmonize and standardize practices, we are seeking an experienced iShift Business Enablement Lead to join our Order to Serve (O2S) Global Process Owner team. This senior management role will drive S/4 Hana deployment and enhancement of standardized end-to-end processes across all regions. The position will lead a team of senior professionals and analysts, ensuring successful execution of the iShift program objectives while developing future leaders within the organization. 

Main responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership and Direction:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the iShift Business Enablement function within the O2S Global Process Owner team. 
  • Develop and execute strategies that align with Sanofi's global objectives and drive innovation from the ERP perspective. 
  • Understand the broader strategic Order to Cash picture and propose ideas that enhance S4/hana/ERP capabilities across the organization. 

Senior Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of senior professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. 
  • Identify and develop high-potential team members, creating a strong pipeline of future leaders. 
  • Set challenging performance objectives for direct reports and provide coaching to support their professional growth. 

Advanced Program Management:

  • Oversee complex transformation programs across regions, ensuring alignment with global strategies. 
  • Ensure consistent integration between ERP and order to cash satellites solutions (Salesforce service cloud, Web portal) and other satellites projects from partner functions. 
  • Make informed decisions on resource allocation, priorities, and risk mitigation across various initiatives. 
  • Implement effective governance structures to ensure successful delivery of multi-year projects. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across digital teams, partner functions, and senior management. 
  • Influence strategic decision-making through effective communication and demonstration of business value. 
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages cross-functional problem-solving 
  • Partner with Solution delivery to ensure understanding of business objectives and vision. 

Change Management Leadership:

  • In partnership with Business operations transitions, contribute to significant organizational change initiatives that span multiple functions and regions. 
  • Develop comprehensive strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes within the ERP.

Strategic Risk Management:

  • Make critical decisions on risk mitigation that have significant business implications. 
  • Provide oversight on issues that could impact Sanofi's operations or financial performance. 

Process Implementation and Optimization:

  • Lead the implementation of S/4HANA, ensuring they meet business requirements across all regions and GBUs. 
  • Drive continuous optimization of order to serve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and support sales growth. 
  • Ensure the deployment of best-in-class solutions that minimize risks to hub order-to-cash activities. 

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Professional Experience: 
  • 12+ years of experience in Order Management processes, with at least 5-7 years in leadership roles. 
  • Proven track record in leading complex transformation programs in a global pharmaceutical or healthcare environment. 
  • Experience in managing and developing senior-level professionals.  
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP implementation projects, particularly S/4HANA. 
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and order-to-cash processes, including their strategic importance to sales and financial operations.

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business needs into actionable plans. 
  • Excellent program management capabilities, including the ability to manage complex, multi-regional initiatives. 
  • Advanced change management expertise and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences. 
  • Team-oriented approach with exceptional collaboration skills across functions and levels. 
  • Fluency in English; French or Spanish is a plus.
