About the job
The Treasury Core Model (TCM) project has been launched in 2017, as part of Sanofi Finance transformation program and consists of redesigning about 40+ unique Treasury processes (local and central), supporting them with a S/4HANA Treasury solution and rolling them out as part of the One-Erp, iShift program.
While the iShift program will continue to be deployed over the next years, it is the goal to harmonize Treasury processes irrespective of the migration to iShift and specifically to consider deployment of S/4Hana functionalities including bank connectivity independently from the One-Erp.
The TCM project is sustained by 2 critical Teams:
The GPO team (Global Process Owner) who is the owner of the Treasury Core Model. The teams aim is to define / harmonize and maintain Treasury processes and solutions in line with best practices, including effective control framework.
The Treasury Core Model Delivery Team who is the owner of the S/4 Hana solution implemented to support those processes. This teams aim is to:
- maintain the solution reliability over time
- manage the required evolutions or enhancements
- deploy it efficiently as per the priorities of the Group (over Geographies, over GBUs and over M&As)
In your role as an SAP Treasury Expert - Bank Connectivity and TRM you will be a member of the TCM delivery team.
Main responsibilities:
- Designing, building and the deploying the Sanofi Core Model technical solution for central bank connectivity, cash forecast and Finance and risk management processes in the scope of the projects directly lead by Treasury, or projects where Treasury is a key contributor. This includes being responsible for:
Scoping Phases
- Contributing to Global design and Scoping phases (Fit to Standard)
- Providing Design Papers and implementation workload estimations for new scopes or new functionalities to be implemented as part of Evolutions and continuous Improvement
Design of the Solution
- Leading detailed design work with the GPO Team
- Contributing to the design of transversal streams (Master data management and migration strategy, Analytics, Authorizations & User Experience
- Proposing adequate SAP solutions minimizing gaps with the live Core model and with SAP standard functionalities then Delivering all design deliverables defined by the program and under Solution Delivery responsibility (e.g. Solution Documents, Functional specifications…)
- Collecting and consolidating all information for Infrastructure and application landscape definition, and performing impact analysis for application changes satellite applications
Build
- Delivering standard configuration and relevant documentation
- Delivering functional specification documents if developments are required (RICEFWs)
- Ensuring quality of developments / Contribute to audits & quality KPI follow up
Testing phases
- Organizing, documenting and executing system integration tests as per Sanofi Projects methodology
- Performing Defect Management (resolution, retest and documentation)
- Contributing to user acceptance tests
Migration and go-live
- Performing Data migration for the processes, solution you scope of accountability
- Documenting and executing cut-over activities related to the stream
- Updating training documents & contributing to training delivery to key users
- Ensuring go-live support and hyper care activities
- Handing over to AMS: Leading the project transition to AMS for your functional domain
AMS
- Contributing to AMS activities: providing functional expertise for complex topics and complex or critical Evolutions
- Acting as a Solution Delivery SPOC (Single Point of Contact) on specific projects/ deployment waves, on which they will either be fully responsible for project delivery (Full Delivery model), or where you will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of implementation partners (Co-delivery model)
About you
- Bachelor’s degree – preferably Master’s degree in Finance / Economics or similar
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience and good knowledge in the analysis and design of Bank Connectivity and Finance & Risk Management business processes, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or similar industries
- Good track record in SAP design and customization for modules related to Finance, Treasury, Bank Connectivity and Treasury Risk Management preferably in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry
- Ability to understand and perform SAP system configuration as an expert in Finance and Treasury
- Experience with Treasury solutions project implementation is a plus (solution design, project methodology...)
- Team player with an ability to coach and support the development of more junior colleagues in the team
- Ability to analyse and problem solve user issues related to system design, process flows and SAP configuration, with consideration for other system impacts and implications
- Fluency in English, any other language is a plus
