About the Job
Our Team:
As a member of the People and Culture Key markets team you will work in close partnership with Germany, Switzerland and Austria Europe MCO business leaders & P&C team and Key markets broader community of People Business Partners to define the business strategy that will allow the business to achieve its goals, while maintaining alignment with Sanofi people strategy.
You will be the Strategic partner to business leaders, identifying and advocating for business needs using data insights. In this role you enable transformation, consult and coach business leaders on effective people and talent management.
You will cover different functions within your MCO including Sales & Marketing Vaccines for Germany and Austria only (Switzerland is not in scope due to specific firewall existing in Vaccines), Medical Vaccines and Country lead functions for the whole MCO.
Main responsibilities:
Coach and advise MCO leadership to shape and enable the people agenda and business strategy, by guiding them on strategic planning activities.
Anticipate and identify business needs and challenges on MCO level.
Contribute to global strategic activities, such as workforce and succession planning, talent and leadership development, culture, D&I by providing market & MCO view and context.
Collaborate with COEs to shape and if required tailor global solutions and best practice solutions by providing MCO business context and ensure that business needs are met.
Talent Acquisition – Provide local input to understand and shape requirements for respective workforce segment and partner with TA teams for hiring of L4+ talent (including select L3 roles) for respective MCO GBUs.
Talent Management – Support activation of MCO, market and GBU talent priorities in alignment with the North Star Talent Strategy. Know Accelerate and selected Advance talents for MCO GBUs. Build manager capability in assessing potential and strengthening succession of MCO BUs Leadership pipeline. Advise leaders and employees on career development and talent activities. (approx. time spent on Talent is 30-40%)
Insights – Advise business based on data and insights and leverage local people insights and analytics for strategic P&C agenda within respective area of responsibility and to provide voice of the customer.
Organisation Design and Effectiveness - Coordinate and manage business and organization changes in country (e.g., mergers, divestiture, NBM) in conjunction with other People Business Partners at MCO, market level and OC&T
Culture and DEI – Promote Sanofi DEI and culture by driving programs and initiatives to increase engagement within respective MCO.
Employee Relations - Advise on high-profile / severe cases and act as escalation point for high-profile cases in respective MCO.
About You
Experience:
Min. 5 years of People & Culture experience, ideally in relation to business partnering, people excellence or talent management
Some level of exposure in change management and support to transformation activities, including handling employee relations in such contexts (with the support of experts)
Soft and technical skills:
Great leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization & ability to represent P&C externally.
Strategic thinker and able to anticipate business-driven changes and drive end to end initiatives for impact
Resilient and able to maneuver through ambiguity
Agile mindset and proactive in driving change
Data and analytics focused, curious about digital for P&C
Education: University Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Labor Law, Psychology or comparable
Languages: Fluent in German and English
