To facilitate this transformation, a new Business Operations Business Unit is being established, bringing together existing business service activities, and driving further expansion of centralized services at scale into a global unit, with a focus on driving simplification, efficiency, and productivity. This new Business Unit will enable the delivery of best-in-class business support capabilities across the organization, incorporating and engaging disparate teams from across areas such as R&D, M&S, the Corporate Functions and GBUs into new global Service Delivery Towers with initial services spanning Commercial, Finance, Procurement and People & Culture. Reporting to the Head of Source to Pay Delivery Hyderabad, Source to Pay Compliance Specialist is 1st line of defence who will plays a critical role to drive and provide key support to Source to Pay Control campaign and activity. The person will work closely with Internal Control COE and country S2P Solution Partner to deliver operational effectiveness & efficiency in Source to Pay Control to provide reliable financial reporting & process compliance within Sanofi Control Governance and Framework. The person will also be working closely with Source to Pay Global Process Lead ensuring alignment of all controls within overall Source to Pay processes.
Main responsibilities:
Manage Internal Control environment: Assesses Mandatory Controls defined in the Internal Control Manual on an annual basis and risk-based approach. Be 1st LOD to proactively identify and manage business risks.
Update the Control Implementation Guidelines, including Control Self-Assessment (CSA) questionnaires, if needed and confirm Local Control owners for the controls included in Control Framework.
Communicate to Local Control Owner on Control Self-Assessment Campaign Kick-off and train them on the latest Source to Pay controls.
Internal Control testing campaigns: Work in close collaboration and alignment with Global Process Lead on actions resulting from controls testing and adjustment of existing controls.
Review parallel with local control owners all the results, finding and action Plan and request, if needed, the support IC team. Answers, findings and action plans are documented in the web-based solution INTERACT
Communicate CSA results to the functions LT and business stakeholders.
Support Operations: Support local Stakeholders in the design & implementation of their Global policies and procedures, Core Model, Global Projects and end to end process improvements for their scope.
Identify & mitigate potential risks by Design: ensure that actual processes and controls are adequately described in local procedures, and standardized between countries
Engagement: Be a key point of contact for Source to Pay Hyderabad hub in engagement with internal or external auditor addition to Internal Control COE.
Content Expert: Be a content expert and go to person in Source to Pay Internal Controls, Control Guideline, SOX risk and Sanofi Operating Model.
About you:
Experience: Source to Pay experience and knowledge in external and internal audit and other internal control related functions. Knowledge of SOX is a plus.
Soft skills & Technical skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and drive process improvement initiatives across an organization. Communication skills to build commitment create adherence (change management) and report to management (business partnering). Inter-cultural skills and eagerness to work in a very international setting. Work and deliver within campaign timeline and dateline. Knowledge in Internal control processes & requirements. Analytical skills paired with broad level of understanding of Source to Pay process.
Languages: Fluent in English.
