    About the job

The objective and purpose of the CHC China Medical Lead position is as follows:

  • • Provide the CHC business unit with medical expertise creating and adding value in order to develop medical strategic plan and contribute with inputs to the marketing plans for existing portfolio and new launches.
  • • Develop and lead the business unit clinical program by study designing, drafting protocols, working close to clinical operation team or contract research organizations, and contacting appropriate investigators. Supervising the clinical trials evolution and the subsequent analysis and drafting clinical reports, as appropriate.
  • • Anticipate and maximize medical value in clinical trials, e-commerce and other initiatives.
  • • Active participation in the CHC Brand Plan meetings and in the Brand plan preparation and provides the Business Strategy with medical opinion in order to leverage external opportunities and optimize health authority’s submission of future strategic needs.
  • • Provide scientific competitive intelligence to the product manager and business plan preparation.
  • • Develop, approve and/or certify, where appropriate, promotional, training and scientific materials, within the constraints imposed by current legal and ethical standards both within the company and industry externally.
  • • Execute Medical stragtegic plan and relevant medical initiatives and activities; managing pivotal KOLs network in relevant therapeutic areas; work as Medical Category lead(s) in scientific dissemination, claim development, and evidence generation, and collaborate with CHC China business strategic partner.
  • • Give medical inputs in innovation projects, including develop clinical development strategy and lead clinical studies for registration; give medical assessment for pipleline development.

About You

  • Develops, manages, coordinates, integrates and drives projects and initiatives in China CHC portfolio while ensuring and maintaining compliance.
  • • Review and monitor projects/initiatives, modifying and escalating where appropriate whilst proposing solutions
  • • Promote scientific innovation opportunities across our portfolio through proactive cross-functional working of team members in contributing to global strategic medical brand plans or developing local product strategic medical brand plans that align with brand direction
  • • Openly exchange with internal & external stakeholders to build on innovative concepts • Ensure appropriate representation & collaboration by local Medical teams within Extended Global Category Medical Teams Internal
  • • Drive delivery of medical commitments at a local level by clearly defining the desired outcome(s) from prioritized activities defined in medical strategies, and define operational milestones to deliver on these medical commitments
  • • Key activities include – facilitating new products launch, generating Brand Contry Medical Plan and executing medical activities, developing insights / anticipating trends, identified & executing on science inspired innovation opportunities (claim enhancement, product development, life cycle management, medical evaluation of BD opportunities and in-house innovation, local switch opportunities), scientific endorsement & stakeholder management, risk mitigation.
  • • Ensure CHC Medical governance is implemented and ensure company/industry standards are maintained at all times Entegrate into a fast acting, collaborative & innovative CHC Medical Affairs culture
